The Burgundy France :
The Burgundy

The Burgundy is situated southeast of Paris and famous worlwide by its wine. But not only the wine of Chablis in the north or the red wine from the south is remarkable, but also the art and architecture of this French province.
1945 again French.

The capital of the Burgundy is Dijon and world-wide famous for its mustard production. Four well-known rivers through-cross the Burgundy: the Seine, the Yonne, the Loire and the Saone. In the Burgundyone finds in addition many calm small villages and many small castles.

Our journey brings us into the south of the Burgundy to Beaune and into the region of the red wine area of Solutré, Berze la Ville, Blanot and later over Chablis, Tonnere in the north of the province to Noyers.

In Beaune we visit the "palace of the poor" established 1443 by Nicolas Rolin. The palace is a unique work. In that time suffered three-quarter of all people in Beaune by diseases and hunger.
