The Mont-Blanc massif
Chamonix, the former winters Olympiad city is the centre to the Mont Blanc massif. The Mont - Blanc is with 4808 meters the highest mountain of Europe. From Chamonix on 1035 meters one reaches the Aiguille du Midi on 3842 meters with the aerial ropeway. From here one has a free view on the following mountains at beautiful weather:

The Bossons glacier is the largest with 3600 meters of downward gradients in Europe. From Montevers one reaches the Mer de Glace with his crystal cave. Many further leisure-time facilities are offered at each season.
