 The symbolism of 11 September
2nd anniversary of the attack of New York
The selection of the World trade center from New York to a terror goal pursues a certain symbolism. Its not urgently an attack against the United States, therfore the white house or the liberty statue would have rather served, but directly against the military politics of the USA and the globalization center absolutely.
The unfair distribution politics of the rich countries regarding raw materials, medical supply, food and entrance to drinking water for developing countries can be seen as a cause for this terrorist attack. The world-political consequences of this attack ignores these considerations however completely in the opposite:
In old Europe during many years now is held a policy of the energy conservation and the reduction of greenhouse gases, one source of the climatic change. At the other side is used the terrorist attack to wars in Afghanistan and Iraq by the government of the United States. The Reason are not alleged mas distructive weapons but the access to raw materials and sources of energy. Thus the dynamics of the symbolism of 11 September are intensified, in whose courses also information and liberty rights in democratic juridical systems were limited.
The UN as well as international laws does not play a role. Terrorism is the designation of force of non-governmental organizations without legitimacy. The Iraq war is thus state terrorism.

Attac local's group was created
Attac is the French abbreviation for Asociation for the taxation of financial transactions. Now was created in Offenburg a local's group of this organization, in which country widely already 180 groups engages themselves.
The problem of the globalization apart from its advantages is also that financial markets are deregulated and tax havens get powered. The Power of Global Players exceeds the power of the politic. So the 3 richest men of the world have more fortunes than the gross inland product of the 49 poorest countries together. By tax evasion etc. national systems come under pressure and roll the tax burdens over on the population.
The claim of the group will be its offering of an information platform around concrete ideas to get through on global level.

The "route de fair" stops
Similarly to the route de France took place in south Baden the "route de fair". To get the appropriate attention around a fair world trade the representatives of the world shop movement from Hamburg, Berlin, Switzerland and Austria undertook a bicycle route from Rottweil to Freiburg.
The third world shops are led as non profit shops and sell above all coffee, tea, honey and arts and crafts article too fair acted prices.

Local council meeting above noise protection barrier
During the last local council meeting before the summer break was agreed a development plan for the noise protection barrier after tough discussion. The development plan is the legal condition obligatory to specify concretely the actual costs and benefits with national places, the population as well as with appropriate offerer companies. Afterwards any decision can be found about the project.
Lack of understanding produced during this local council meeting above all the discusion of the local council members of Kürzell, who already expressed doubts in the accurately determined costs and proceeds for the project regarding the financing. A planning from first information resulted in a large reconciliation of proceeds and costs.
