Studies about globalization
Oxfam study - International Labour Organization - Globalization Index

Discussions in 13 different countries resulted that due to the globalization particularly the working rights of womens are occured. By comparison of the prices world-wide the strong rising costs are further-pressed downward. Disregard of minimum wages and up to 150 working hours overtime in the month are the consequences. Operational organizations of the workers do not become certified.

The International Labour Organization, that consists of 21 members of different countries, criticizes the globalization. Therefore the globalization threatens the sovereignty of states. Nevertheless it is also stressed that the globalization brings progress. The ditch however between poor and rich becomes larger. Into the "ethique vacuum" must be integrated economic, politic and social.

The globalization index evaluates economic factors like e.g. the portion of the trade of the gros domestic product, memberships in international organizations as well as travel activity and international communication. The order of rank: 1. Ireland 2. Singapore 3. Switzerland 4. The Netherlands in addition Germany place 18. China, Venezuela, Indonesia and India form the tail light.

Malaysia
UN conference to the bio diversity

In Kuala Lumpur was agreed at the UN conference a program for the establishment of a world-wide network of nature parks up to the year 2010. With this measure it will be braked the annually extinct of more than 60,000 animals and plants. Problems are resulting particularly in the financing aspect. The developing countries are afraid of a handicap of their economic development by the establishment of protected zones. On the other side is argued with durable incomes with the possibility by nature parks instead of predatory exploitation.

World-wide

Carneval in Germany

As everywhere in Europe also in Germany was celebrated the Karneval. In the center thereby are located innumerable removals of carneval groups. Traditionally at the carnevals Tuesday the city halls were occupied. Up to following Wednesday the carneval govern over the political happening. On removals the past cultural and political events are then commentated both national and locally. This year stands in particular the health reform, the Iraq war as well as the different political parties in the criticism.

Originally was the carneval the time to drive out from the fields symbolically the bad spirits punctually for the end of the winter and for the beginning of the "save" work on the field.
