Europe - Spain - Iraq
Elecions in Spain in the European extension year Anniversary of the Iraq war at 20.03

Not only for Spain was the elecion of Sunday 14.03 a great importance but also for Europe in its so-called fate year. The experts were united that for Europe a difficult year is approaching. But with the vote decision of Spain and the foreseeable change of government a new dynamic for Europe with influence on world politics can be developed. The promise of the future new Prime Minister Jose Luis Zapatero to approximate the country to the "old Europe" brings new chances for the stopped negotiations over a common European constitution, which could not be carried out so far particularly because of the attitude of Spain and Poland.

Remarkable is also that Zapatero, without beeing critised by the United States, declared the Iraq war as an error for which it does not give a real reason. A weight has this choice in Spain also for the many Latin Americans in the United States. Now does also the vote out of office threaten to the American president? He justifies now the Iraq war with the fight against the terrorism. Before the war this was justified still with alleged mas destructive weapons. It appears however in such a way, that the war against international law increased the hate to the western world and the inlet to combinations of terror. Thus the whole world is victim of the political false estimate of the Bush administration.

Europe - Arctic - USA
Climatic change 10 anniversary of the Kyoto protocol

Climatic researchers of the University of Berne come to the result that Europe experiences the warmest time for 500 years. Apart from the record summer 2003 also the 30 warmest winters resulted in consequence. The decade from 1989 to 1998 was the warmest since the Middle Ages. The summers from 1994 to 2003 were the hottest for 500 years.

A further study of the European environmental agency EUA resulted in a decrease of the glaciers in the arctic and an increase of the contamination with poisonous chemicals.

A further study comes from the Ministry of Defense of the USA. Therefore a sudden drastic change of climate is possible due to the change of the gulf stream. Melting glaciers and polar ice can affect the strength gulf stream. The study comes to the end that a dramatic climatic change gave, like it was already in former times, a larger threat for the world peace represents than the today's danger by the terrorism. As consequences wars are inevitable around habitat and energy reserves.

Europe International day of the women

The situation of the occupation-active women in Europe hardly improved after an European Union study since the mid of the 90's. Men received in the year 2001 in the average 16 % more wages in the Europeen Union. Particularly in Germany and Great Britain the difference with 20 % is the largest.

The difference in the 10 new entry countries to the European Union starting from 01 May looks still more serious. There the women earn on the average 35 per cent less.

Europe - Germany
Publication "Advice codes of practice to social standards"

Substantial portions of the bought consumer goods in Germany originates from imported goods from so-called second and third world countries. The increasing price fight leads thereby to larger rising costses on offerer side. Given change due to ever more increasing pressure from public side some companies now publicated a manual how social standards can be established by supplier companies opposite their employed persons.

It concerns however about free regulations and they are far from a fair trade. These freestandards need binding conventions for their conversion according to international law, in which also the participation of the employees is ensured.

Europe - Germany
Solar technology, wind power

The German solar technology is European-wide leading. The portion of renewable energies of the current consumption in Germany can be increased from now 7.6 % to 12,5 % in the year 2010. On the other side Germany who at present is the largest market for wind energy will lose importance. The portion of electricity production by wind force will world-wide quadruple itself up to the year 2012. The largest markets for the wind-powered devices operators will be France, Great Britain, Austria, Italy and the USA.
