Local council decides support for development assistance

An action of the help organization"Vision Hope" for a development assistance in Yemen was supported by the local council. The project concerns that the members of the help organization prepare firewood in the municipality forest who will be sold to the municipality for the same price it could be sold by them.

The preparing of the firewood is for the municipality a losing transaction, because the costs of the personnel employment are not covered by sales proceeds. The members of the organization does not only carry out free development assistance but also they reduce the personnel expenditure of the municipality.

"Nuclear Free Future Award"

The world-wide most important anti-atomic price was assigned this year to 3 nuns, an Iraqi and a German scientifist and a medicine man.

The 3 nuns from the USA could not appear for the award of the prize. They are sitting for 2 to 3 years in detention because they painted a cross with their blood on a atomic rocket.

Rise of the carbon dioxide emissions

Six years after the Kyoto resolution were not reached most agreed climatic goals. In the year 2002 the carbon dioxide emissions rised world-wide by over 4 %. The developing countries particularly increased it with 9 %. Compared with 1990 the carbon dioxide emissions rised by around 20%.
